Significant Convention Centres

Whatever the size, formality or informality of the event, Malta has the expertise and venues to suit. Malta’s conference venues have more to offer than the ubiquitous mineral water, fresh mints and daylight. There are a total of five specific convention centres on the Island of Malta including the Mediterranean Conference Centre in the capital of Valletta, Hilton Malta Conference Centre and InterContinental Arena Conference Centre in St Julians, the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in the centre of Malta and the Oracle Conference Centre in the northern part of the island.

Access

Malta is a European Union Member state and is signatory to the Schengen Agreement. The Malta International Airport (MIA) is the destination’s main gateway, but as an Island, Malta is also accessible by sea. MIA has been voted as the second best airport in Europe and serves a total of 86 destinations working with 37 partner airlines including Air Malta plc, which is Malta’s national airline carrier.

Conventions Malta offers subvention schemes to local & international associations looking at hosting their event in Malta or Gozo.
